Episode 3: “Midnight Meeting”
Maya tossed and turned all night, unable to shake the feeling of dread and anticipation. Who was Leo, and what did he know? When morning came, she felt exhausted but determined. She needed to find out the truth, no matter the cost.

The school day dragged on, and Maya found it hard to focus. She avoided eye contact with her classmates, feeling like an outsider with a dangerous secret. She couldn’t wait for nightfall.
As the clock struck midnight, Maya slipped out of her room again and made her way to the library. This time, she found Leo waiting for her, a flashlight in hand.
“Ready?” he asked.
Maya nodded. “Let’s do this.”
Leo led her through a series of darkened corridors to a part of the school she had never seen before. They stopped in front of an unmarked door, and Leo pulled out a key.
“This is where they keep the records,” he explained. “I’ve seen files in here that you wouldn’t believe.”
He unlocked the door, and they stepped inside. The room was filled with filing cabinets, each one labeled with a different year. Leo went straight to a cabinet marked “1990-2000” and pulled out a thick folder.
“These are the original experiment records,” he said, handing it to Maya. “Project Bliss was designed to enhance students’ abilities, but it went horribly wrong.”
Maya’s hands shook as she opened the folder. Inside were detailed reports of experiments conducted on students, with notes on their progress and the side effects they experienced. Some had developed extraordinary abilities, but others had suffered greatly.
“This is insane,” she whispered. “Why would they do this?”
Leo looked grim. “Bliss High was funded by a secret organization that believed in pushing human potential to its limits. But they didn’t care about the students’ well-being. They only wanted results.”
Maya felt sick. “And the students who disappeared?”
Leo nodded. “They were either too damaged to stay or too powerful to control. The school covered up their existence, erasing them from the records.”
Maya’s mind raced. “But why am I here? Why was I transferred to Bliss High?”
Leo’s expression softened. “You’re part of the next phase of Project Bliss. They believe you have potential, and they want to use you.”
Maya’s breath caught in her throat. “I need to stop this. We need to expose them.”
Leo nodded. “But we need more evidence. Tomorrow night, we’ll go to the old science lab. There’s something there that will blow this whole thing wide open.”
