Storytelling & Monetization
We offer two types of storyteller experiences:
- Open Storytellers: Anyone can write a single-read story on our platform without creating an account. Every story undergoes verification before publication. Writers retain full rights to their stories and can request removal within 48 hours of publishing. These stories cannot be monetized but can help writers gain publicity and fame. Writers can also apply to join our monetized storytellers team.
- Closed Storytellers: Aspiring storytellers can apply to become part of the Myna Stories team. Once approved, they gain full access to our platform, including a personal account and instructional videos on how to use our tools. Closed storytellers can write and monetize both single and series stories.
Story Monetization
Can I monetize my story? Yes, you can monetize your story on Myna Stories. While official monetization starts in 2025 (when we will begin paying our top writers directly), there are currently other ways to earn on our platform, provided certain conditions are met.
You can monetize your story through memberships, reader donations, and ads. To qualify, you must:
- Publish more than 5 stories.
- Achieve at least 500 views on a minimum of 5 stories each.
- Maintain high story engagement.
These conditions ensure that our readers enjoy your stories enough to pay, donate, or accept ads. Once met, you can apply for monetization and be confident of approval. just to read more of your stories. If you meet this conditions, you can always apply for monetization and be sure to get approved.
Rights to your stories
Who will own the rights to my stories on the platform?
For open storytellers, you retain full rights to all your stories and content on our platform. You can request to have your stories taken down, but a 30-day notice is required before removal.
For closed storytellers, we share equal rights to your stories. This means you cannot choose to remove your stories from the platform, but you are free to sell, resell, post on other platforms, and use your stories as you wish.
