Despite their success in exposing Project Bliss, Maya couldn’t shake the feeling that there were still secrets lurking in the shadows of Bliss High. She knew there were deeper layers to uncover, and she was determined to bring everything to light.

One evening, as they were reviewing the files they had gathered, Leo pointed to a name that kept appearing in the documents. “Dr. Evelyn Grace,” he said. “She was one of the lead scientists on Project Bliss. But there’s hardly any information about her.”
“Maybe she’s the key to understanding the full scope of the project,” Maya suggested. “We need to find her.”
Emma nodded. “I’ve been doing some digging. Dr. Grace disappeared a few years ago, right around the time the experiments ramped up. There’s a rumor she went underground to avoid the authorities.”
Maya felt a spark of determination. “Then we need to find her. She could have the answers we need.”
They spent the next few days tracking down leads, following every breadcrumb that might lead them to Dr. Grace. Their search took them to an old research facility on the outskirts of town, long abandoned but still holding secrets.
As they approached the facility, a sense of foreboding settled over them. The building was in a state of decay, with broken windows and overgrown vegetation. They pushed open the rusted gate and stepped inside.
The interior was a labyrinth of dark hallways and empty rooms. Maya’s flashlight flickered as they navigated through the building, the air thick with dust and the scent of neglect. They finally reached a locked door marked “Restricted Access.”
“This has to be it,” Leo said, trying to pick the lock. After a few tense moments, the door creaked open, revealing a hidden lab filled with old equipment and files.
Maya began rifling through the papers, her heart racing. She found a stack of documents labeled “Dr. Evelyn Grace – Personal Notes.” As she read through them, a chilling picture began to emerge. Dr. Grace had grown disillusioned with the project and had tried to stop it from within, but she had been overruled and eventually silenced.
“She tried to stop them,” Maya said, her voice shaking. “But they wouldn’t listen. They pushed forward with the experiments, no matter the cost.”
Leo found a locked drawer and pried it open, revealing a small journal. “This looks important,” he said, handing it to Maya.
She opened the journal and began reading. It was Dr. Grace’s personal account of the horrors she had witnessed and her desperate attempts to end the project. The final entry sent chills down Maya’s spine: “If you’re reading this, it means I didn’t make it. The truth must come out. Find me at the old safe house. It’s the only way.”
“We need to find this safe house,” Maya said, determination in her eyes. “It’s our only lead.”
